The Children’s Covid Vaccine Advisory Group (CCVAG) have written an urgent Open Letter to the Chair of the Government’s advisory body on vaccination (the JCVI), Prof Sir Chris Whitty (Chief Medical Officer) and Sajid Javid (Secretary of State for Health), to request an urgent meeting and an immediate pause to the rollout of Covid vaccines to children, pending the results of a Public Inquiry.

CCVAG raises the following issues to be investigated:
- Latest data shows the Pfizer vaccine increases risk of Omicron infection
- New ONS data indicates 2-3 excess deaths per week of teenage boys, correlating with vaccine rollout
- Rollout to children is therefore now 100% risk, for no benefit
